Stylish and sophisticated comedy!

Kicking off the
2010 season with a unique mix of wit and slapstick, we revive the
classic comedy Blithe Spirit in typical Noel Coward fashion.
Languid aristocrats with a taste for martinis, nervous servants with
a penchant for sprinting and hare-brained psychics who have the
power to raise the dead spout charmingly witty dialogue.
The hilarity begins in the posh home of Charles Condomine in Kent.
After an odd encounter with the local town psychic, Charles suddenly
finds himself torn between two lovers – his wife Ruth, and his late
wife Elvira. Far from a typical ghost story, Blithe Spirit’s
plot twists and turns are sure to please audiences and actors alike.

A play within a play within a calamity!
A hysterical look at a community theatre
company desperately trying to put on a new play by a local
playwright. The play takes you through rough rehearsals, a
disastrous dress rehearsal, and a performance where anything that
can go wrong DOES. The cast is seriously put through the wringer
mentally and physically as complications and mishaps unfold. The
“characters” are rich with personality and EGO! As technicians and
actors, the troupe will give audiences a true inside look as to the
REAL happenings leading up to opening night as the mayhem ensues.
All of the parts have great moments and, as with any good comedy,
some hilariously bad ones too! Even the set and sound effects reap
their share of laughter.

Music and Lyrics by David Yazbek
Book by Jeffrey Lane
One of the most
deliciously funny, smashing shows of the last 20 years!
We’re off to the Riviera with Broadway’s smash-hit musical
comedy, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Nominated for 11 Tony Awards and
based on the popular 1988 film, this is the story of two very funny con men
who try to out-con each other. When it becomes apparent that the Riviera
isn’t big enough for the both of them, they make a winner-take-all wager
over the fortunes of a naďve American soap heiress: the first one to “clean
her out” can make the other clear out and keep the Riviera and its
unsuspecting tourists to himself! David Yazbek’s music and lyrics are fun
and catchy and flow seamlessly with Jeffrey Lane’s book.

A rare combination of riotous farce
and touching love story! A man wakes up in the bridal suite on
his wedding morning to find an extremely attractive naked girl in
bed beside him. In the depths of a stag night hangover, he can’t
even remember meeting her. Before he can get her out, his bride to
be arrives to dress for the wedding and, in the ensuing panic, the
girl is locked in the bathroom. The best man is persuaded to claim
her, but he gets confused and introduces the chamber maid to the
bride as his date. The crisis escalates to nuclear levels by the
time the mother of the bride and the best man’s actual girlfriend
arrive. Robin Hawdon has fashioned that has provoked waves of
laughter across Europe and America.
